New Mexico | El Pinto 🌶️

First day in New Mexico – flew into Albuquerque super tired, but cheered up instantly with these amazing spicy grilled ribs! So worth it! 😋 Since we weren’t super hungry after a big lunch at another Mexican spot, five of us shared just two dishes lol 👯‍♀️ Red Chile Ribs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Saw on Xiaohongshu that these are ranked the 3rd best ribs in the U.S. 🏆 – not sure how that’s measured, but honestly? They deserve it! The ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender 🤤, coated in a fragrant and mildly spicy red chile sauce. We wrapped the meat and sauce in warm tortillas – absolutely PERFECT. 🌯🔥 Green Chile Stew ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 This stew was also incredible – loaded with roasted green chiles, chicken, and potatoes 🥔🍗. The green chiles add a slightly sweet and smoky flavor. So comforting and delicious paired with the ribs! We almost ordered the fried green chiles too, but skipped to avoid feeling too greasy. Best part? The meal came out to just ~$10 per person 💰… New Mexico prices are EVERYTHING. They also served endless warm, crispy tortilla chips – honestly could’ve filled up on those alone 😂. These dishes were so good I had to post ASAP, even though I’m half asleep! 😴💫 The restaurant is huge with plenty of parking 🅿️, but try making a reservation – we got lucky with no wait today! 📍 El Pinto 10500 4th St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114 #Albuquerque #NewMexicoFood #ElPinto #RedChileRibs #GreenChileStew #TravelNM #FoodieDiary 🌮🇺🇸✨
