Jackson Square – Live bands perform daily in front of the cathedral 🏛️🥁 Bourbon Street – Reminded me of Beijing’s Houhai bar street… wild, loud, and not for everyone 😅 🍛 Restaurant Highlights Jewel of the South 🥈 North America’s 2nd Best Bar 🏆 (World’s 50 Best Bars 2024) Classic NOLA Cocktails: French 75, Brandy Crusta, Jewel Sazerac 🥃 Seasonal Picks (more feminine & floral): Feast of Avalon, Casket Girls 🌸 Food was just as stunning: Foie Gras, Roasted Shrimp, Wagyu Tongue, Gulf Shrimp Raviolo (not your average ravioli — incredible!) Dessert? So good I forgot what I ordered 😋 Luke 🦪 Happy Hour: 3–6 PM | Oysters: $1.50 each Must-try: Fried Gulf Oysters (crispy outside, juicy inside!) Cocktails 50% off + Shrimp & Grits — the grits in that sauce… unforgettable! 💥 Peche Seafood Grill 🐟 Feels like a local weekday spot Loved: Seafood Gumbo, Whole Grilled Fish with Herb Salsa Side of Miso Pumpkin — a bit salty but delicious! Coop’s Place 🍛 Recommended by our Uber driver — looks divey, tastes divine!
