New Orleans: Scenery & Cuisine 🍃🍽️
This Thanksgiving, I returned to New Orleans as usual. Every time I visit, I make sure to stop by Audubon Park — my favorite place in the city 🌳✨. The park is home to flocks of migratory birds playing on the lake, centuries-old oak trees spreading their branches, and Spanish moss hanging freely from the limbs. It’s perfect for morning walks, jogging, family time, or capturing memorable photos 📸💚. And of course — you can’t come to New Orleans without exploring its food scene! 🍤🎉 Known as America’s culinary capital, NOLA is famous nationwide for its incredible eats. One unique highlight here is Vietnamese cuisine — many Vietnamese immigrants in the mid-20th century settled in New Orleans after arriving in the U.S. This time, we tried Mint Modern Vietnamese, a new spot for us 🍜🇻🇳. We ordered the Fried Pork Belly Banh Mi — a delicious American-Vietnamese fusion that tasted a lot like a local Po’boy! Hearty and satisfying, and only $10.50! We also got a bowl of Beef Pho ($17) — authentic and clean-tasting, with no MSG aftertaste 👍. We also revisited Vincent’s Italian Cuisine, a restaurant I fell in love with last year 🍝❤️. Their pre-meal butter bread is absolutely to die for — so good we couldn’t stop eating it! #NewOrleans #NOLA #Thanksgiving #Pho #ItalianFood 🌆🎷🥖
