New Orleans: Scenery & Cuisine ๐๐ฝ๏ธ
This Thanksgiving, I returned to New Orleans as usual. Every time I visit, I make sure to stop by Audubon Park โ my favorite place in the city ๐ณโจ. The park is home to flocks of migratory birds playing on the lake, centuries-old oak trees spreading their branches, and Spanish moss hanging freely from the limbs. Itโs perfect for morning walks, jogging, family time, or capturing memorable photos ๐ธ๐. And of course โ you canโt come to New Orleans without exploring its food scene! ๐ค๐ Known as Americaโs culinary capital, NOLA is famous nationwide for its incredible eats. One unique highlight here is Vietnamese cuisine โ many Vietnamese immigrants in the mid-20th century settled in New Orleans after arriving in the U.S. This time, we tried Mint Modern Vietnamese, a new spot for us ๐๐ป๐ณ. We ordered the Fried Pork Belly Banh Mi โ a delicious American-Vietnamese fusion that tasted a lot like a local Poโboy! Hearty and satisfying, and only $10.50! We also got a bowl of Beef Pho ($17) โ authentic and clean-tasting, with no MSG aftertaste ๐. We also revisited Vincentโs Italian Cuisine, a restaurant I fell in love with last year ๐โค๏ธ. Their pre-meal butter bread is absolutely to die for โ so good we couldnโt stop eating it! #NewOrleans #NOLA #Thanksgiving #Pho #ItalianFood ๐๐ท๐ฅ
