New Orleans: Scenery & Food ππ΄
Spent Thanksgiving back in New Orleans as usual π₯³! Every time I visit, I make sure to stop by Audubon Park β my absolute favorite spot in the city. This park is peaceful and lively at the same time: flocks of migratory birds playing in the lake π, century-old oak trees spreading their branches π³, and Spanish moss hanging freely from the trees. Itβs perfect for morning workouts, walks, bringing the kids out, or taking memorable photos πΈ! And of course β you canβt come to New Orleans without exploring the food scene! π½οΈ Known as the culinary capital of the U.S., this city makes people think of good food the moment they hear its name π. One of the unique features here is Vietnamese food β many Vietnamese immigrants who arrived in the mid-20th century chose to settle in New Orleans. This time, we tried Mint Modern Vietnamese, a new spot for us! We ordered their signature Fried Pork Belly Banh Mi β a cool Vietnamese-American fusion that tasted a lot like a local Po' boy π. Hearty and delicious, and only $10.5! We also got a bowl of Beef Pho for $17 β authentic and full of flavor, with no MSG taste at all ππ―. We also revisited Vincentβs, an Italian restaurant we fell in love with last year π Their pre-meal butter bread is simply incredibleβ¦ sooo good! π§π #NewOrleans #NOLA #Thanksgiving #VietnamesePho #ItalianFood #FoodieGram #AudubonPark #TravelNOLA
