New Orleans' Most Famous Restaurant: Commander's Palace 🏰

I was lucky enough to visit Commander's Palace yesterday—New Orleans' most iconic restaurant! 🍽️ I’ve heard it’s super hard to get a reservation, so I truly felt fortunate to experience it. This restaurant specializes in Creole cuisine, a local New Orleans culinary tradition. The interior has a beautiful retro vibe, and the service is absolutely top-notch—comparable to some Michelin two-star restaurants I’ve visited! 💫 With tip, it came to about 60–80 per person. For the starter, I ordered the Gumbo—a classic Creole soup rich with okra and flavor. 🥣 As a main course, I had the Redfish, which was cooked to perfection. Others in our group tried the turtle soup, shrimp, quail, and more—every dish was delicious! 🦐🐢 Their most famous signature dessert is the Soufflé 🍮—I’ve heard many people come here just for this! Served with whiskey-infused cream, it’s truly intoxicating in the best way. Since it takes 20 minutes to prepare, be sure to order it in advance! On weekends, they have live jazz performances during brunch 🎷, and I’ve heard the atmosphere is amazing. Really hope to catch that next time! Have you ever tried Creole cuisine? Or have a favorite soufflé experience? Share your thoughts below! 👇🎭 #NewOrleans #Gourmet #WesternCuisine #RetroVibes #Souffle #ExploreWithMe #NOLA #BusinessTrip #NeurIPS
