New Orleans | Bearcat Cafe ☕️
Visited this place twice in one week—it’s that good! 🥰 🍴🍴 First visit: We ordered the highly-recommended Lobster Daddy—absolutely amazing!! 🦞💥 A bit pricey at around $30, but getting a whole lobster tail made it worth it (I think? 😅). We also tried the popular Crab Scramble since we were worried the special menu might be too heavy. Swapped the potato side for cauliflower. The eggs were quite salty, and there wasn’t much crab meat 🦀, but the cauliflower was delicious! Overall, the dish was just okay. For drinks, we picked Butterfly Matcha Lemonade from their bottled selection 🍋💚—couldn’t really taste the matcha, but it looked gorgeous and tasted refreshing! Before leaving, we grabbed a Vanilla Cold Brew to go—super tasty and perfect for cooling off in the summer heat! 🧊✨ 🍴🍴 Second visit: We tried the Scallop & Soft-Shell Crab Dish. My husband liked the Crab Daddy even more than the Lobster Daddy! The scallops in the Ragin’ Tajin were incredibly fresh 🍤, and the dish had a sweet and sour flavor profile. Only downside: a lot of chia seeds made it a bit heavy toward the end. Have you tried both lobster and crab dishes? Which one do you usually prefer?
