New Orleans | City Walk Vibes 🎷🌦️
Even though this season in New Orleans swings between scorching sun and sudden storms, the city is still perfect for slow-paced City Walk vibes. Every shop is pumped with AC ❄️, creating a wild contrast between indoors and out. Wherever you go, there’s live music playing — the whole city feels like a dreamy, slightly unhinged paradise where everyone is beautifully, relaxedly unbothered 🍹 ⛲️ French Quarter We caught a passing rain shower, so we explored between sunny breaks around Jackson Square 📍 Snapped some classic Instagram shots 📸 but sadly St. Louis Cathedral closes at 4 PM — we missed the interior. Still, the best Jazz clubs and restaurants are all within walking distance 🎶 Bourbon Street was wild — music everywhere, a sea of people, and more cops and patrol cars than I’ve ever seen 👮🚓 Felt like a mix of apocalyptic party and carpe diem energy! 🍸 Sazerac House Highly recommend this cocktail museum! Walk-ins welcome — a self-guided tour takes you through the history and craft of New Orleans' iconic drinks. Plus, you get 3 free samples: Sazerac – a bit strong 🥃 Rangoon Gimlet – refreshing & tangy 🍋 Huapala – sweet tropical vibes 🌺 🚢 Riverwalk Along the Mississippi Perfect for a breezy evening or after-rain stroll. We caught a steamboat blasting The Entertainer 🎹 and street musicians setting the mood 🎶 Super chill — and if you're not in a rush, hop on the streetcar 🚃 (bring cash!). It’s air-conditioned, moves slower than walking pace, and even stops for pedestrians and cars — peak NOLA relaxation 😌 #NewOrleans #NOLA #CityWalk #SazeracHouse #RiverwalkVibes
