New Orleans | Exploring Tableau ๐ฝ๏ธ
๐ For Halloween, my family and I chose Tableau for dinner. Since we had two little ones with us, we were worried about disturbing others in a quieter restaurant, so we arrived right at 5 PM when it opened. The place was almost empty at first, and we could choose between outdoor seating or the second floor. Overall, the service and atmosphere were excellent โ the staff was friendly, recommended signature dishes, and kept our water glasses filled while clearing plates promptly. ๐ A bit odd, though: the restaurant offers a kids' menu and high chairs, but thereโs no changing table in the restroom โ something to note for parents! ๐ด Dish Recommendations: โ Truffled Crab Claws โ fragrant and flavorful! โ Fried Oyster Pan Roast โ rich and satisfying. โ Gulf Fish (didnโt get a photo, but it was fresh and tender!) โ Lamb Bolognese โ hearty and delicious. Their famous Turtle Soup was okay โ a bit bitter and salty, with a strong herbal taste; not really my thing. The seafood pasta (pictured last) was just average โ pretty to look at, but nothing special. The salad was refreshing โ you can add pineapple to the greens! ๐ ๐ฐ About $50 per person โ overall, a solid dining experience! ๐ Address: 616 St Peter St, New Orleans, LA 70116 #NewOrleans #FoodReview #FrenchQuarter #FamilyDining #NOLAEats #Tableau ๐
