New Orleans | Historic French Quarter Gem: Antoine's 🦪✨

Antoine's has been serving guests since 1840—that's nearly 200 years of history! 🕰️🏛️ The decor is beautifully vintage, and the restaurant even has a dress code (no T-shirts, etc.) to keep the atmosphere elegant. 👔🎩 Out of the eight appetizers offered, five feature oysters—so you know they're a specialty here! We ordered two types: one fried, one baked. Each had its own delicious charm! 🍤🔥 For the main course, I went with Shrimp Creole, which came with crispy onion rings, tangy tomato sauce, and rice. In New Orleans cuisine, rice is a staple—and the sweet-and-sour tomato flavor perfectly balanced the richness of the fried oysters from earlier. 🍚🍅 While the food may not be the most standout in the French Quarter, it’s solid and satisfying. The real highlight, though, is the excellent service! 💁♂️🌟 Have you ever dined at a restaurant with such a long history?
