New Orleans | Popular Brunch Spot Review
Ruby Slipper Café A super popular brunch spot. Their Benedict is the star dish!! I originally thought: "How good can eggs Benedict really be?" But wow — I was blown away after the first bite! Simple dish, extraordinary execution~ 😋🍳 Atchafalaya French-style brunch. I'd rank it among my top 3 brunches ever on the East Coast! Hard to go wrong with anything on the menu — their dishes are creative, distinct from traditional brunch offerings, featuring inventive French-inspired flavors. The duck hash is especially delicious, the waffles are amazing, and their cocktails are crafted to perfection. Great ambiance and service — just a bit farther from downtown! 🦆🥞🍹 Bearcat Honestly, I’ve never had such an unpleasant brunch experience anywhere in the world ~~ 😅 Went right at opening and still waited 10 minutes. Ordered popular items, but could hardly taste anything beyond saltiness ~~ It was almost inedible ~~~ Service was terribly slow, and they automatically add a 20% tip (I promise my review isn’t influenced by the tip or service — the food really was that bad). Quick Coffee Reviews: Café du Monde Their chicory coffee is all the hype, but it tasted like my home capsule coffee diluted with 2L of water 😂. They might as well charge me $7 for a cup of water! 💸☕ French Truck Coffee After the disappointment at Café du Monde, I immediately treated myself to coffee here — and it was great! Beans were aromatic and flavorful. 👍☕ #Brunch #NewOrleansFood #NewOrleansTravel #FoodReview
