New Orleans | Southern Warmth & Hospitality
My memories of New Orleans aren’t just about the delicious fried chicken—they also include the mysterious Voodoo I once read about in textbooks. Behind its vibrant jazz and glowing nightlife, the weight of history still rests upon this city. And beneath the music and neon lights, years of unfinished infrastructure quietly remain.❄️ But its people are warm—the hospitality of the South and the love for good food can be felt even across an ocean. I savored crispy fried chicken, fried oysters, and fried green tomatoes. When your stomach is filled with rich, savory flavors, emotions begin to soften, history fades into a quiet hum, and all that’s left is the thought: “So good… so delicious.”😋 🍽️ | Seaworthy Plump stuffed crab paired with white wine—any crab you don’t have to shell yourself is a 10/10!🍸 🏠 | Maison Metier The stay was just okay, but an espresso martini with truffle fries and fried oysters never disappoints. 🍽️ | Elysian Bar A hearty breakfast spot—right next to Ayu Bakehouse, one of the best bakeries in the city! 🏠 | The Barnett Wake up to an Earl Grey latte downstairs, and end the night with fresh buttery popcorn. Even if there were flaws, I couldn’t bring myself to complain.🎷 People in this river-born city know how to eat well. Rather than chasing celebrity restaurants, I’d truly recommend searching Google Maps for spots with under $50 per person and over 1,000 reviews—they rarely disappoint.❤️ #NewOrleansFood #NOLA #WanderWithJoy #CityMemories #StudyAbroadTravel #TheJoyOfStrolling #EverydayVibes
