New Orleans | What's It Like to Have Brunch in a Pink Church? π
One of my biggest anticipations for this trip was experiencing this unique church restaurant. I made a reservation a week in advance, hoping to snag a table inside the actual chapel. When I arrived, I was told that due to Hurricane Ida, the church dining area is only open on special occasions β the next one being Mother's Day Sunday Brunch π·. So I chatted up the host and managed to reserve a table for that Sunday morning! Whether you dine in the main restaurant or the historic chapel, the experience is wonderful. A big plus: the chapel brunch features a live band πΆ, which pairs beautifully with the serene, elegant atmosphere β truly a magical combination β¨. If you get the chance, I highly recommend trying it for yourself! The regular dining room is also stunning β you can choose between indoor seating or the courtyard. The indoor area retains the feel of an old-money historic home, with antique furniture and classic decor πͺ. Stepping into the courtyard, the vibe shifts to bright and garden-like, draped in long green vines β so fresh and lovely πΏ. The bar is exceptionally beautiful too! Honestly, one visit isnβt enough to take in all the charm of this place. The restaurant is part of Hotel Peter and Paul π¨ (the hotel rooms look amazing too!). If you want to stay close by and fully immerse yourself in the experience, consider booking a stay! #HiddenGem #UniqueDining #USATravel #NewOrleans #BrunchGoals #PinkChurch π₯π
