New Orleans Accommodation Guide 🏨

Located in the humid and warm American South, New Orleans had me especially worried about bugs in hotels. Before booking, I carefully checked Google reviews for every hotel I considered — searching for any mentions of bed bugs or cockroaches 🐜😅. I finally chose Le Pavilion, part of the Marriott portfolio. It’s situated downtown, just a 10-minute walk from the French Quarter 🚶‍♀️💫. The room wasn’t huge, but the decor was pleasant. I originally booked a king bed room, but to get a higher floor with a beautiful bay view 🌊🪟, I switched to a two double beds room (since no king rooms with a view were available).
