New Orleans Detailed Guide – Hotel Edition 🏨
1️⃣ The Ritz-Carlton ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📍 Superb location — the best of all the hotels I stayed at. Situated on the busiest main street, very safe 🛡️. Just one block away from lively Bourbon St and the French Quarter. Easy walking distance to shopping, dining, and bars 🛍️🍷. Rooms are spacious, but the hotel lacks character — a bit too generic for my taste 😕. 💰 Price: around $230. 2️⃣ The Eliza Jane by Hyatt ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📍 Stayed mainly for the aesthetics, but overall it was a bit disappointing 😔. Rooms are small and didn’t feel super clean — hardware not as nice as the Ritz. ✅ Pros: Affordable ($130), photogenic 📸, decent location (walkable to French Quarter if you’re up for it). Close to Luke and popular brunch spots 🥞. The hotel restaurant Couvant looks worth trying — though it wasn’t open during my stay. 3️⃣ Maison de la Luz ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📍 A hotel I looked forward to for a month — and it did not disappoint! 😍 So beautiful and very French in style! The lobby is small but absolutely stunning ✨. Corridors and rooms are more spacious than expected 🛋️. Since it’s relatively new, everything feels fresh and clean 🧼. 🍸 Their bar is a must-visit — full of lovely surprises! Close to several famous restaurants, but walking to the French Quarter would be quite a trek 🚶♂️💦. The restaurant is gorgeous (great for photos!), but skip breakfast — overpriced and just okay 😅. 💰 Price: around $280 (not cheap, but worth it). Even if you don’t stay here, definitely stop by their bar! #NewOrleansHotelRecommendation #NewOrleans #WhereToStay #TravelGuide
