New Orleans Food & Drink Journey #1 - Luke

Luke gets mixed reviews , but with happy hour deals, the value is unbeatable — can’t complain! 😏✨ Food 3.5/5 🦪 Chef’s Gulf Dozen + Raw Gulf Oysters – So fresh and clean! Paired with cocktail sauce, they went down way too easy 😋. 🦀 Blue Crab and Corn Bisque – Came for crawfish bisque (sold out), but this was rich and full of crab shreds — delicious! 🐑 Ragout of Braised Lamb and Cavatelli – Aka “French-style braised lamb with twisted pasta” 🤔. Not bad — loved the pasta texture! Drinks 4.5/5 – Happy Hour speaks for itself! ☕ Black Velvet – Sweet coffee vibe, low on booze. More like a “dessert cocktail” than an espresso martini. 🍾 French 75 – Pretty foam art (the “75” looked cool 👌). Smooth but not the best my partner’s had. 🍹 Door #3 – Surprisingly balanced! Expected sugary pomegranate, but it was just right. 🥤 All Tomorrow’s Parties – Tonic-heavy, soda-like, light on alcohol — gone in two sips! 🥃 The CBD – The most “adult” drink of the night — bourbon-based, bold and mature. 🍸 Seersucker – Looked like Door #3 but tasted much milder. Just okay. #GlobalFoodies #NewOrleansFood 🍽️🎉
