New Orleans Food & Drink Journey #2.5 – Brother’s Fried Chicken

You can’t visit Louisiana without trying fried chicken! 🍗✨ We stopped by a mini-mart near our hotel — left with happy, glistening faces (and maybe a little extra oil 😉). Food 4/5 🍗 Tenders – AMAZING! Big, thick, juicy, and perfectly spiced 🌶️. So flavorful it didn’t even need hot sauce. My partner gave it top marks! ⚫ Boudin Ball – Looks dark but tastes fantastic — packed with seasoning, reminded me of the fried sticky rice balls my family makes for Lunar New Year 🧡🥺 (homesick vibes). 🥧 Cajun Meat Pie – Not great 😅. Crust was thick, soggy, and separated from the filling. Seasoning inside was okay though. 🍗 Thigh & Leg – Tasty, but not as good as the tenders.
