New Orleans Food & Drink Journey – Luke 🍽️🍸
Luke gets mixed reviews online, but with their Happy Hour deals, the value is unbeatable! Can’t complain at that price 😉 🍽️ Food: 3.5/5 Chef‘s Gulf Dozen + Raw Gulf Oyster: Pure joy! Fresh, clean oysters 🦪 with cocktail sauce — went down way too easy. Blue Crab and Corn Bisque: Rich and creamy with real crab shreds 🦀. Wanted crawfish bisque, but this was a tasty alternative. Ragout of Braised Lamb and Cavatelli: Not what we expected (blame the menu description?), but still good! The pasta had a nice texture, and the lamb was tender 🍖. 🍹 Drinks: 4.5/5 Happy Hour speaks for itself! Black Velvet: Sweet coffee vibes ☕ — barely any alcohol, like a gentle espresso martini cousin. French 75: Topped with pretty egg-white foam ✨. My friend said it was smoother than others they’ve tried. Door #Three: Well-balanced, not too sweet despite the pomegranate 🍒. All Tomorrow’s Parties: Tonic made it soda-like 🥤 — light and easy to drink. The CBD: The booziest of the bunch 🥃 — bourbon-based and seriously smooth. Seersucker: Looked like Door #Three but tasted much milder — just okay. Great spot for affordable oysters and creative cocktails! Don’t skip Happy Hour 🕔💥 #GlobalEats #NewOrleansFood #HappyHourNOLA #LukeRestaurant #OystersAndCocktails
