New Orleans Food Recommendation: Blue Oak BBQ 👍🏻

Went to NOLA originally wanting to try a New Orleans-style wings spot, but after seeing good reviews for this place on Yelp, we decided to give it a shot. Turns out it feels like a mix of Texas and New Orleans BBQ styles! 🍖🔥 We ordered two combos with chicken, beef, pork, and sausage. My favorite was definitely the beef 🥩 — so tender, and we got the fatty cut. It was rich but not greasy—meat lovers would totally approve! 💯 The roasted Brussels sprouts that came with the combo were amazing too. They looked a little charred but weren’t bitter at all, and packed with flavor—probably the best I’ve ever had! 🥬✨ This meal was seriously satisfying.
