New Orleans Hidden Gem Restaurant – ZASU ✨
Found this little treasure, Zasu, on Eater—a modern New Orleans cuisine spot. Came here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday! 🎂💫 🐙 Starter: We ordered the Grilled Baby Octopus and Caramelized Sunchoke. The octopus is an absolute must-try—the star of the whole restaurant! Crispy on the outside, tender and melt-in-your-mouth on the inside. 🍴 🥗 Second Course: We had the soup of the day and the Crunchy Green Salad. The soup was delicious! The green salad was fresh, though the feta cheese was a bit salty—still, the veggies were super fresh. 🥬 🥩 Main Course: We got the Wild Mushroom & Potato Pierogies and the Beef Short Rib Bourguignon. The beef rib was incredibly tender—fell right off the bone, no knife needed! The smoky flavor was amazing. 😋 🍰 Dessert: The Butter Cream Cake was a bit too sweet for my taste—not my top recommendation. Overall, Zasu offers a refined, modern New Orleans vibe.
