🎷 New Orleans Jazz Vibes & Travel Diaries 🍸
Hey folks! Let’s talk about New Orleans—a U.S. gem famous for jazz, Mardi Gras, Cajun seafood, and… wings? 🍗 Its exotic charm and voodoo culture draw crowds year-round. Here’s my Dec 2024 itinerary for ya! 🗺️ Day 1️⃣: History & Booze 📍 National WWII Museum 945 Magazine St, NOLA 70130 Grab a “dog tag” to experience the war from a soldier’s POV. 🎖️ Heavy but impactful—half a day needed. 📍 Sazerac House 101 Magazine St, NOLA 70130 Free booze tour! 🍹 Book online ASAP—slots fill fast. 📍 French Quarter Bourbon St = Party central. Royal St = Art galleries + haunted tours. 👻 Fun fact: Despite the name, the architecture here is actually Spanish-inspired! 😂 📍 St. Louis Cathedral 615 Pere Antoine Aly, NOLA 70116 Gorgeous cathedral with jazz musicians busking outside. 🎶 The Instagram-famous LaBranche House is right behind it! 📍 Jackson Square 701 Decatur St, NOLA 70116 Mississippi River views + sunset pics. 🌅 Grab a Café au Lait and beignets at Café Du Monde nearby. ☕ Day 2️⃣: Plantations & Gators 🌳 Oak Alley Plantation + Swamp Tour Book a combo ticket on TripAdvisor! 🐊 Oak Alley = Photo heaven + chill vibes. 📸 Swamp Tour = Meh. 🦥 Cute raccoons, but not worth the hype. Pro Tip: New Orleans = 🎭 Jazz + 🍹 Bars + 🌶️ Cajun Spice. But brace for sticky floors, tourist traps, and “voodoo” souvenir shops. 🧿 #NewOrleans #JazzCapital #USATravel 🎶
