New Orleans Restaurants So Good Even Ants Would Stop By! π
TLDR: N7 & Paladar 511 β Solid 8/10 from me! Fiery Crab β Delicious and unbeatable value for money π°π₯ βͺοΈ N7 A true hidden gem π tucked behind an unassuming door! This French-Japanese fusion spot is absolutely brilliant. We tried their brunch, but the dinner menu looks equally tempting. The Soup du Jour was incredible! The server, a friendly French grandpa π΄π·, made the experience even warmer. The chef is a Japanese woman, and they have a sister restaurant in Kyoto β highly recommend! βͺοΈ Paladar 511 A must-order: Squid Ink Spaghetti π¦π β the flavor is so rich and almost Chinese-inspired, itβs mind-blowing! Perfect for a date night π. The Wagyu Steak was just okay (comparable to Texas Roadhouse, tbh), but everything else shined. Their Ice Cream Sundae π¦ is a dream! βͺοΈ Fiery Crab A Louisiana chain, but SO GOOD! Affordable and satisfying β even with big appetites, we spent around $25 per person. Everything fried here is fantastic π€π. Skip the catfish (a bit fishy), go for White Fish or Shrimp! Weekday lunch specials (before 3 PM) are a steal β youβll leave stuffed! Also, donβt miss the Charbroiled Oysters π¦ͺ β so tasty, but order by the dozen for sure. βͺοΈ Other Asian Options Decent but not mind-blowing β still worth noting if youβre craving Asian flavors: Sukho Thai π: Curry was average, but the Pad Thai and Tuna Salad were great (tuna is flown from Thailand πβοΈ). Tom Yum Soup tasted a bit off, but the Pineapple Fried Rice reminded me of soy sauce fried rice from home ππ! Coconut Ice Cream = yes! I Love Noods π: Their ramen and pho are tasty and generously portioned. The cucumber salad tastes just like Chinese-style smashed cucumber π₯! Clean space, and they also serve boba and dim sum. A nice break from all the Western food! #nola #neworleans #restaurantrecommendations #usatravel #foodie
