New Restaurant in Philly｜European Cuisine at Aleksander 🍽️✨

Aleksander｜📍Rittenhouse Square Not far from K’Far, this cozy new spot opened right by the park — feels a bit like a European-style bistro 🇪🇺. The menu is a mix of various European cuisines, but still a step above typical “New American” fare. 🥩 Beef Tartare – Solid version of this classic. 🍹 Cocktails – Serbian Kiss (sweet but not cloying) and One Sip at a Time (nice smoky vibe) — both good! 🥟 Pierogi – Polish dumplings filled with mashed potatoes and cheese — rich and comforting, with that carb satisfaction we all crave. 🍚 Scallop Risotto – A bit of a “kitchen sink” situation… tried too hard with candied orange, fried kale, lemon foam, and tangy cabbage. Reminded me of a not-so-great bistro in France 😅. 🍝 Short Rib Pasta (friend’s order) – Looked hearty. 🦑 Squid Ink Seafood Pasta (friend’s order) – Really good!
