New Restaurant Review: Caravan Uyghur Cuisine π
The overall ambiance of this small restaurant is simple yet elegant. You can tell that the decor was thoughtfully designed with attention to detail: from the carpets hanging on the walls, the lights and murals, to the patterns on the tablecloths. πΏ π½οΈ Since itβs still in the trial operation phase, the staff and processes are a bit inexperienced, but the service attitude is great. The waitstaff are sincerely apologizing and following up with customers. π Judging from the staffβs performance, it seems to be a family-run business. I actually really enjoy dining at family-operated restaurants. Although their service might not be as polished as a professional restaurant group, the personal touch makes everything more genuine and heartfelt. π π½οΈWe ordered Big Plate Chicken, Erjiezi (a type of Uyghur noodle dish), and garlic rapeseed hearts. When we were ordering, both the waiter and the chef warned us about the large portions, not wanting us to order too much and waste food. The chef even sincerely suggested starting with just one dish of noodles, and only ordering more if we enjoyed it. This customer-centric approach definitely earns a thumbs up! π #NewYork π
