USA ~ Will there be a fireworks show this year? The experience of ringing in the New Year in the U.S. really has a unique flavor. For the past few years, I’ve made it a habit to spend the end of the year at the Waldorf Astoria DC hotel in Washington. It’s perfect for putting a wonderful end to the entire year. The lobby’s decor is particularly exquisite. Dining or having afternoon tea in the lobby really gives you a sense of enjoyment and ceremony. 🌟 Christmas Tree & Festive Atmosphere The massive Christmas tree in the lobby really makes the hotel shine bright. 🎄 Every time I walk in and see that magnificent and festive tree, I can’t help but feel great. It’s adorned with lights and ornaments, filling the entire space with a holiday vibe, making it perfect for photo ops! 🎵 Live Music to Enhance the Ambiance The hotel also arranges for a band to play classical pieces live in the back of the lobby. The tunes are very fitting for the holiday spirit. Sitting in the lobby, listening to the music with a hot drink or champagne, it’s truly hard to leave. The pace of New Year’s Eve slows down, making it especially comfortable. 🎆 Fireworks Show The New Year’s Eve fireworks show in Washington varies each year. The National Mall fireworks show starts on December 31, 2024. 🏨 I booked a room for December 28 this year. On New Year’s Eve, you can walk around the National Mall area to experience the American New Year’s vibe.
