New York’s Most Surprising Meal: Quality Meats 🌟
After trying Keens, Gallagher’s, and Delmonico’s, I was wondering which steakhouse to save for my last meal. After an hour of research on YouTube last night, I decided on Quality Meats. From the service to the flavors, it was the most surprising meal in New York. 🌸 The pre-dinner bread was delicious right off the bat (I’m not usually a big sourdough fan). The Bloody Mary Granita is a seasonal special—I ordered two. It’s so refreshing and flavorful, with no fishiness at all. 🎢 After finishing the oysters, they brought a warm towel with a slice of lemon for hand-wiping, which was a cute touch. Then came the freshly made steak sauce. I’ve seen similar tableside services in restaurants back home, but this was my first time in the US. I usually don’t eat much sauce, but this one is worth trying. 🍃 I ordered the Prime Sirloin. The first bite was astonishing. I’ve never tasted the dry-aged flavor so distinctly before, but here it was, rich and hard to ignore. The smoky aroma was also quite strong. It’s the best steak I’ve ever had. 🌊 The Corn Crème Brûlée—who could say no to that? The sweetness is just right, and the caramelized top is sprinkled with a bit of salt to complement it. Though it’s a side dish, it can easily pass as a dessert. If you’ve already checked off the classic New York steakhouses, Quality Meats is definitely worth a visit. #NewYork 🍔🌟
