New York|Frenchette Bakery Opens a New Store at Whitney 🌆
Frenchette is one of my favorite bakeries on the island 🌴. Its most famous pistachio croissant is, in my opinion, better than those from Librae and others. The only downside is that it’s located in FiDi, which makes it quite a journey to get there 😢. But the good news is that the new store is now at the Whitney Museum 🎉. It’s on the first floor, right at the cafe area, so you don’t have to go through the museum’s security check. This saves a lot of unnecessary trouble The space is really spacious 🌿, and the pastries are just as excellent as those from the original store. The Paris-Brest is truly beautiful . It’s the best pistachio cream puff I’ve ever had. The crispy puff pastry is filled with a rich Sicilian pistachio paste. The texture is thick and creamy, like ice cream , and there’s no artificial flavor at all. The puff pastry is also decorated with caramel sauce, which adds a nice touch 🍯. Each bite is very satisfying 😋, though it’s a bit on the sweet side, but not overly so. I often buy other pastries from them too, like the Plain croissant (which is also amazing), egg mortadella, and croustillant. I highly recommend these 🌟. 📍 99 Gansevoort St, New York, NY 10014 #RecorderofRomanticLife #NoteInspiration 📝
