New York's "Wukang Building" and More(1)
🏙️✨Actually, it's a bit of a playful joke. The Flatiron Building, completed in 1902, in terms of height, volume, and aesthetics, I think it surpasses the Wukang Building. This isn't about favoring one over the other or being infatuated with foreign things. 🏙️✨ But rarity does make things precious. Cabbages from the north become agaves in the south. 🏙️✨Many years ago, when Wukang Road and the building weren't so crowded, I used to love going there. Back then, the intersections weren't filled with so many people taking photos, and there were still utility wires crisscrossing the sky. It was just a place where you'd want to pause for a moment. Now, I dare not go. 😔 When life turns into a tourist attraction, everyone becomes an actor in a zoo. 🏙️✨ That year, I was alone in AMC in the City of Flowers, watching "You Are the Apple of My Eye." When the sunset over the Wukang Building appeared at the end, my eyes welled up. I missed home. 🏙️✨ #NewYork #FlatironBuilding #FlatironBuilding✨
