New York's 4.9 High-Rated Thai Cuisine ๐ฅ
The weather was just perfect this weekend, so I headed to Central Park to unwind (and scout locations for our engagement photos, haha). I stumbled upon a highly-rated Thai restaurant nearby! ๐ ๐ฃ Tam Mai Thai ๐ 58 W 56th St, 2nd floor, New York, NY 10019 Chicken Satay (3 skewers) ๐ฒ13 ๐ Must-try appetizer! The two types of sauce are amazingโsweet but not cloying, and they pair perfectly with the three satay chicken skewers. The little rice cakes are yummy too! ๐ Papaya Salad ๐ฒ13 ๐ Green papaya salad with lettuce! It's tangy and sweet, a must-order for any Thai meal. ๐ฅ Pla Nueng Manow (Steamed Seabass with Seafood Sauce) ๐ฒ34 ๐ Found the perfect deboned Thai-style sea bass! It's tangy and spicy, bubbling in a hot pot. The fish has a bit of that fish cheek textureโtender, flavorful, and getting spicier with each bite. There are two large pieces of fish, and the dish comes with some leafy greens. ๐ Seafood Pad Cha ๐ฒ33 ๐ The sauce for this Thai stir-fried seafood is out of this world! It's amazing with rice. The seafood is super fresh, and the onions, basil, and other greens are all well-seasoned. We cleaned our plates! ๐ฆ Watermelon Rita ๐ฒ15 ๐ธ Tequila-based, with a watermelon-flavored margarita vibe! A large round watermelon ball frozen into iceโsuper creative and delicious! ๐ Thai Iced Coffee ๐ฒ5 โ The Thai iced coffee is great! It's not overly sweet because it doesn't use condensed milk, making it perfect for cooling down from the spiciness. โ โ The seafood is outstanding, and all the Thai street snacks are authentic. โ The ambiance and service are both excellent, perfect for a small gathering with friends. ๐ #NewYork ๐ฝ
