New York's Maison de Manee 🍽️
🌸Thai Chicken Curry Crepe: The curry has coconut milk, which makes it very fragrant. I would recommend this dish. However, the crepe could be a bit crispier, closer to a French-style crepe. When I was filming them preparing this dish for other guests, I saw they added a lot more curry filling. 🎢 But when it was our turn, without the camera, our portion was much smaller. Apart from this unpleasant difference in treatment, I’d give the flavor four stars. 🌟 🍃 Coconut Pancake: The coconut flesh is very tender and has a nice texture. The downside is that it’s quite sweet, and the pancake itself feels a bit sticky when you eat it. French Onion Soup: This was a big miss—it was extremely salty, almost inedible. Fortunately, they comped my order. 🌊 Mango Sticky Rice Crepe: Their signature dish is the Mango Sticky Rice Crepe. The Tom Yum soup and curry pancakes are also good. Overall, their Thai dishes are better executed. They seem to lack a deep understanding and foundational skills in French cuisine. #NYCFood #LIC #LICFood #NYCBrunch 🌟
