New York's New Chinese Cuisine โโ Yum Cha Chinese Kitchen & Bar๐โจ
In the Lower Manhattan area, near New York University, there's a new Chinese restaurant that has truly impressed us with its new chef. It's become a regular spot for my friends and me. The dishes are not only beautifully presented but also authentically flavored. Even the cocktails are pretty great! ๐ธ โ Dragon Well Shrimp: Fresh and delicate, with a subtle hint of Dragon Well tea! The shrimp are small but incredibly tender, making it a standout Hangzhou-style dish. ๐ฆ โ Lychee Shrimp Balls: When they arrive at the table, they look stunningโlike a lychee tree full of fruits! The outer skin is fragrant and crispy, while the shrimp inside are bouncy and juicy. When you bite into them, they burst with flavor! ๐ โ Black Truffle Beef: This dish is truly impressive! Large chunks of beef are enveloped in the aroma of black truffle, with a slight spiciness that makes it perfect for rice. The only downside is that the beef isn't as tender as I would have liked, but the flavor is outstanding! ๐ โ Sizzling Eel: A must-order every time we visit. The eel is tender and smooth, and when you pour the hot oil over it, the rich sauce aroma is released. It's a famous Shanghai dish and perfect for rice. ๐ โ Pickled Okra: Okra is a great choice for a refreshing appetizer. It's light and cleansing, perfect after eating too many rich dishes. I love the sweet and sour flavor. ๐ฅ #NewYork ๐๐
