New York's Rising Italian Star | Delicious and Beautiful Dishes π
Restaurant Name: Santi π Santi, East 53rd Street, New York, NY The location is a bit tricky to find. Once you see the Santi sign on the street, turn right and walk about 20 meters. πΊοΈ Dishes: The scallop appetizer (canestrelli) and busiate (a seafood cat's ear pasta π) are highly recommended. Their seafood is exceptionally well-prepared, with rich flavors and no fishiness at all. I loved the salad, but my friend thought it was too tangy. If you like something refreshing, give it a try. The steak was a bit dry and not very tasty, so I wouldn't recommend it. π Cocktails: πΈ Strongly recommended!! I ordered the Queen Bee Sour, which is their signature cocktail, and it was truly amazing. My friend had another one I can't remember the name of, but it was also delicious. I feel like their cocktails are even better than some of the speakeasies around. π₯ Ambiance: The atmosphere is a bit too business-like, but the decor is stylish and tasteful. Maybe because it was Friday evening, almost everyone in the restaurant was in suits and ties. It feels a bit too formal for a date, but the weekend might be more relaxed. π #NewYork π½
