đ§ La TĂȘte dâOr by Daniel I finally found a partner brave enough to join me in tackling the signature steak! đ„č đžThe 34oz RR Ranch Porterhouse, aged for a full 60 days, is a true beast. The meat is deliciousâdense with a rich, dry-aged aroma and just the right amount of marbling. đ La TĂȘte dâOr is a French-inspired American steakhouse, so the sauces are the stars here: PĂ©rigourdine Sauce At $18, it's definitely on the pricier side and comes in a rather small portion, but the flavor is fantastic. Itâs a reduction of veal stock, red wine, and foie gras, topped with fragrant black truffles. đ đ Au Poivre The pepper sauce has a clear, peppery aroma (not too spicy) with a clean, creamy finish. đ§ đą Prime Rib Unfortunately, this was missed in the order, so we had a long wait. The Prime Rib was tender, softer than most Iâve had in New York, with a bit more fat. It came with two sauces, one of which was the PĂ©rigourdine without trufflesâstill rich but with a purer flavor. đ The accompanying bread was unexpectedly deliciousâlightly crispy and very aromatic, perfect for dipping in the meat juices. đ„ #NewYork đœ
