New York | A Weekend Tipple in Brooklyn 🥂
📍 Place des Fêtes Even with the heavy rain, there was a long line of people waiting to get in. The average cost per person was around 💲60. The place isn’t very big, and the tables are a bit too close together. The menu changes periodically. 🌿🌟 The much-talked-about sourdough bread tasted like sour whole wheat to me—not very appealing. The tempura mushrooms were a delightful surprise, and the beef tartare was pretty good. The ham was just okay, and the sea bass was a bit too tender, making me wonder if it was even fully cooked. Overall, though, it was still a decent experience. 🍖 I ordered a Pink Lady cocktail, which was refreshing as I had hoped, but the alcohol taste was still quite strong. After one drink, I felt a pleasant buzz. 🍸 🌿🌟 The service was friendly, but the food came out a bit slowly. I don’t think the overall experience lives up to the “best” or “ultimate” hype, but it’s not bad either. It’s just a solid, enjoyable meal. 🌟 #NewYorkLife #NewYorkDeliciousFood 🌇
