New York | Artistic Plating, Candlelit Ambiance, and Spanish Cuisine
Are the chefs at this place also artists? The vibrant red, yellow, and green sauces drizzled over the dishes make them look like edible masterpieces—truly a feast for the eyes and the palate! 🎨🧑🍳 Pulpo A La Parilla 🐙 Octopus legs are a unique ingredient, and the best way to enjoy them is when they’re first boiled and then grilled. This gives them that perfect crispy-on-the-outside, chewy-on-the-inside texture. Their version is top-notch, and I love the distinct, fibrous texture of the seafood. Paella Valenciana For 2 🥘 They should really rename it to “For 4”! Priced at $78, the portion is incredibly generous. Every bite of this seafood paella is packed with meat, and the moist grains of rice absorb all the flavors of the seafood. It’s impossible to finish it all in one sitting, so we had to take some home and enjoy the feast again the next day. Churrasco 🥩 The steak is seasoned with Argentine chimichurri and Cuban mojo sauces, served with starchy yucca fries. Fans of thick-cut fries will be delighted! The plating is also very elegant, with a distinct Caribbean flair. Coconut Tres Leche 🍰 This coconut tres leche cake is stunningly beautiful! It looks like it’s soaked in milk, with a moist and soft texture that’s perfect for ending a meal on a sweet note. For two people sharing the paella, the per-person cost easily exceeds $100. However, the other dishes are reasonably priced. The restaurant’s ambiance is exceptionally dim—ideal for romantic dates and deep conversations. It’s a nightmare for food bloggers without a light, but trust me, the flavors are fantastic.
