New York | Chilling in the West Village on a Summer Evening
Hii, hello there! I’m CatEatsXiaoLongBao! After a month of non-stop fun, I’m finally back. Yes, I’ve been eating lots of delicious food and plan to post daily updates now. No more procrastination! Today’s weather was perfect. In the evening, I met up with @iiiiceamericano at a French restaurant in the West Village. Sitting on the patio, sipping Chardonnay, and enjoying the breeze was so relaxing~(I’ve been recommended many restaurants and plan to try them one by one). This place is very laid-back and perfect for a date with a glass of wine. Immersed in the West Village vibe, watching passers-by and townhouses, I felt like I was slowing down. If you’re doing a city walk, I highly recommend sitting here for a bit. The overall taste of the French cuisine was good, with no misses, but nothing particularly memorable. The vibe was really great though! We ordered 4 dishes and 2 drinks, which was just right. Appetizers: 🥩 Meatball - Served with cheese and seasonal vegetables, it’s a flavor I really love. 🦐 Grilled Shrimp - Tender, but it’s something you could skip. Main Courses: 🤍 Scallop - I really enjoyed the fennel pairing! This dish was quite surprising. 🍄 Truffle Mac and Cheese - The truffle flavor was very rich. 💰 Average Cost: $60 📍 St Tropez West Village #NewYork #NYCFood #NYCEatingDrinkingAndFun #NYCWestVillage #NYCExploration #HiddenGems
