New York | Columbia University’s Daily $1 Oyster Happy Hour 🦪✨

It’s every day! Whether it’s a weekday or weekend, from 4-6pm, oysters are just $1 each!✨ 🎓 These days, my feed is flooded with graduation photos and ceremonies. Some Columbia schools have just finished theirs, and mine is coming up this weekend! It’s a bittersweet time, especially as spring turns to summer. It feels so surreal.😢 Today, I’m recommending a place I wish I’d found earlier. I tried it after seeing a recommendation from @Nutritionist_Sister_Scott, and it’s definitely worth it!🤩 It’s perfect for when friends and family visit campus and you want to eat nearby. 🍹 The cocktail sauce is tangy and spicy, perfectly complementing the oysters’ freshness. A dozen per person is totally doable! The only thing is... classic Western restaurant issue: big dishes, small tables. When the food piles up, your arms might clash with the plates. Haha🥲 🍕 During Happy Hour, the menu’s small plates are all under $10, and large plates are at most $20. The taste and portions are great! They don’t skimp on quality just because it’s a special deal. After all, it’s a legit Mediterranean restaurant with a 4.7 Google rating. 🥘 Even if you don’t have room for a main course, a special trip here for dinner should be a safe bet. Summer’s here, and sitting by the door or outside, eating until the sky darkens, the ambiance lights up, and the evening breeze blows... it’s perfect for sipping drinks and chatting. 💯 📍 Elis Wine Bar and Restaurant 1012 Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY 10025 #NewYorkLife 🌆
