🌆 New York | Date Itinerary: Upper West Side Edition

👫 For those who enjoy: Taking it slow, strolling through neighborhoods, museums, and parks, occasionally sitting down for a coffee and a chat. Since I don’t venture to the Bronx often, I’ll briefly mention a couple of spots there too. 🚶‍♀️☕ 🍽️ Where to Eat: Most of the restaurants and cafes were covered in the previous two posts. Near the American Museum of Natural History, you can try Frame Coffee or Irving Farm New York. 🥪☕ 📍 Where to Explore: Riverside Park: Less crowded, with beautiful views by the river. 🌳🌊 American Museum of Natural History: Focus on the newly opened Gilder Center, designed by the famous architecture firm Studio Gang. The Mignone Halls of Gems is a personal favorite, showcasing various gemstones. 🏛️💎 New-York Historical Society: Smaller and less crowded, perfect for those wanting to dive deeper into New York’s history. 📜🏛️ Grand Bazaar Vintage Flea Market: A bit of everything, but check the hours—it’s not open daily. More & More Antiques is next door and worth a visit. 🛍️🧸 Design Within Reach: A furniture store featuring modern, iconic pieces. 🪑✨ Beacon Theatre: Hosted shows by Ali Wong and Fran Lebowitz (check the schedule for other performances). 🎤🎭 The Met Cloisters: Perfect for a relaxing stroll on a nice day. Though not far from Manhattan, the air feels fresher. 🌿🏰 New York Botanical Garden: Don’t miss the orchid exhibition in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory. 🌸🌿 🌅 As the day ends, you think your leisurely day with your crush went well. Little do you know, after saying goodbye, they text their friends complaining about how you’re such a cheapskate—spending the day at parks and free museums, with just a coffee here and there. 😅 They found you too bland, but you’re left wondering why they stopped contacting you. You’re still reminiscing about the beautiful sunset after leaving the museum. You don’t mind, though—you’ll eventually find someone who loves watching sunsets as much as you do. 🌇💛 #NYCWeekends #NewYork #NYCLife #NYCCafes #NYCFoodExploration #NYCFoodGuide #FunnyDailyLife #BabyFood #JokerLiterature #NYCFoodAndFun #NYCDaily
