366 Columbus Avenue needs better management! it’s no wonder I was first scheduled day before Valentine’s day or Valentine’s day for an interview & switched to another week. It’s at 3PM and I arrived 15mins late, by the universe as time is made up and works for you. However, it is also winter cold outside and transit was also turbulent. Maybe I should have be the one choosing the times as to plan in advance means that you’re unconscious (hence why plane tickets are cheaper done long time before). She was not conscious because she was “expecting” and “assuming” she got turned down once again and is rude infront of everyone who wanted to eat in Peace, because of it. Also, I am learning the later times shows who the business behavior is like. Just because I am looking for a job doesn’t mean that I am need. I have savings and conscious human being. Something told me “it’s okay to be late as if they like you they would seek to understand and/or since i’m late i’ll see who They are”. Caught her off guard as she took that personal as she expected me on HER time. Fix your hair it looks like your bald with one piece of hair extension hanging off your head and yet feeding people Proudly. Your parental skills are off all for unorganic animal meat and gmo potatoes. If it wasn’t for her employee stating oh i’ll just say this for you, I said “Aww” but all I got from that is wow she must be Hell taking advantage of y’all Kids otherwise they’ll get unemployment off of her. She has a diverse team but holding off her own kind due to her insecurities. Without that job she is Nothing and that’s why she denied my rihanna looking self with my soft hair and “prince charming” side bangs and beautiful eyes I feel better knowingly! And didn’t even want to come to leave my home due to scheduling someone on LOVE day. You don’t love yourself or those kids, that’s why you’re Hiring another cook, whom will leave you again. That store had tooooo many humans waiting and cooking behind the counter and infront of the counters, everywhere, starving! NO, thank you. Luckily, didn’t even pay coming there and going back and used a google phone number. Everything happens for a good darn reason! Thank god I worked for the top bakeries and Serendipity 3 otherwise I’d feel so unaccomplished. This post covid pulling all the false masks cards in these businesses. When I get home I shall cook me a lovely pasta dish with a movie! &...
Read moreTl;dr: don't come here to eat-in if it's close or during peak hours. Delivery time much longer than expected, not worth the food quality.
Maybe this place lived some kind of good hype before but now it's gone, mainly because of atrocious overall restaurant management during peak hours, from the orders dispatch to the crowd control and including how cold the restaurant can be. First of all, passing orders is top notch and easy. But instead of assigning you to a table, they give you a number to take with you and good luck to find a table. This left families of many children waiting to get a table and standing up for more than 20mn, and I even witnessed an argument between 2 women for a table having 1 crying in front of her children. Nobody from the staff intervened. Now for the crowd control, I waited for 30mn for my food. People are still waiting for their food as I speak. The orders management is very poorly handled and the system put in place simply doesn't work. Assign a eat-in order to a table instead of a number, make a line of eat-in people assigned to one terminal only to control the crowds, and give your kitchen some buffer from order to table delivery. Specially seeing the staff running everywhere to handle the supervision gap, this place needs to be...
Read moreIt’d been a while since I’d last had Shake Shack, but I had a craving and ordered a Shack Burger and Fries for pick-up.
With its proximity to the American Museum of Natural History and Central Park, this location can get quite busy, but I went for a very late lunch or very early dinner, so the lines weren’t too long.
My pick-up experience was very positive, thanks to the friendly, helpful staff. When I arrived, I couldn’t locate the pick-up counter, so I asked one of the staff. They told me and very kindly guided me to where it was, at the back of the restaurant. The staff with the pick-up orders was also very friendly.
Although it was a very short time, by the time I got home, the food wasn’t hot. I’d arrived before my pick-up time, but my order was already there, so maybe it’d been sitting there for a bit. Both my Shack Burger and Fries were still good, though. Their burgers aren’t as greasy as some other places and the fries are crinkle cut fries.
I love ketchup and realized after I got home that I should’ve gotten extra, because I use it for both my burger and fries, and it only came with 2 packets. Note for next time.
It was a good experience overall, though. Great service really makes all...
