New York | Enjoying Super Thick-Cut A5 Wagyu Beef from Tokyo 🍖
🌟Japanese yakiniku options in New York are few and far between. I’ve been to Futago, the same restaurant Jay Chou loves, and Gyu-Kaku back in my student days. 🍃Toraji An from Ebisu, Tokyo, also has a branch in Chinatown—it’s so low-key that I just found out about it recently. Two of us ordered the $168 and $98 sets, which included both seafood and meats. The thick-cut beef tongue and pork neck were incredibly tender, paired perfectly with a light teriyaki soy sauce. So delicious that you can’t resist eating even when it’s scorching hot! 🥩 The signature wagyu beef had distinct marbling. Although it’s recommended to grill it for just two or three minutes, we preferred the edges a bit more crispy and caramelized. 🎢 Crispy on the outside yet tender and juicy inside, melting in your mouth. The meat juices flowing down your throat feel like taking a sip of concentrated broth. 😭 #NewYorkFood #WagyuBeef #Yakiniku 🌃🌟
