New York | Farra Continues to Deliver 🍴💗
Farra, the restaurant with a 50-page menu where 49 pages are dedicated to wine, has consistently been amazing over the years. The place is really as small as a piece of dried tofu, with decor and furnishings that have always been so simple yet sophisticated! After all these years, it remains one of my all-time favorites. 🏙️ I brought a friend from Madrid here for dinner, and every dish was perfect for sharing with flavors that are always spot-on. Here’s what we ordered: 🌿🌟 Sourdough, Versatile Puff Pastry, La Fafa Cakes, Garlic Bread Buratta Cheese, Golden Beets, Pineapple, Pistachios Yellowtail Carpaccio, Hami Melon, Strawberries, Almonds Foie Gras Mousse, Pears, Balsamic Vinegar, Brioche 🏙️ Rice, Scallops, Egg Yolk, Trout Roe Shrimp Ravioli, Miso Skipjack Broth, Ricotta Cheese, Olive Oil 🌿🌟 Beef Tenderloin, Truffle, Bone Marrow, Mashed Potatoes Chocolate Pudding Cup, Passion Fruit, French Fresh Cream Raspberry Mousse, Mango, Cream Crumbs Let me highlight that I’m usually not a big fan of burrata, but theirs is exceptionally delicious—creamy without being greasy! Also, I’m not typically a ravioli lover, but their ravioli is just stunning. 🌿🌟 The beef tenderloin was incredibly tender, but at 💰$108 for such a small portion, it’s a bit pricey. The seemingly simple rice dish actually had a crispy, tender base that reminded me of Persian rice, and paired with seafood, it was divine. 🏙️ Farra is definitely worth the repeat visits. #NewYorkLife #food 🌃🌟
