Tasty. Our reviews had over 34 million views so far this year. We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun. We really love Farra. one of the best WE GO OUT TO EAT 5 DAYS A WEEK FOR THE LAST 18 YEARS AND THIS IS IN A TIE AS OUR #2 RESTURANT WORLDWIDE (#1 IS THEIR SISTER RESTURANT ATERA). VERY SMALL PLACE WITH SEATS FOR JUST 12 PEOPLE SO GET A RESERVATION EARLY, MUST HAVES INCLUDE THE LOBSTER RAVIOLI SERVED IN A LIGHT AU JUS. SEE PHOTO OF IT IN A CIRCULAR PATTERN, SHE IS ITALTIAN AND SAID THE BURRATA WITH STRAWBERRIES WAS A NEW WAY TO SERVE IT, BUT IT WAS SUPER AWESOME. I HAD SALMON TARTARE AND IT WAS BEYONE LOVELY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND IT WAS SERVED WITH HOMEMADE POTATO CHIPS WHICH MADE IS SUPER GREAT. I HAD THE BRAISED DUCK WHICH WAS "VERY SUCCULENT" LIKE THEY SAID IN SEINFELD. IF YOU READ MY REVIEWS YOU KNOW I AM VERY HARD ON DESSERTS. IT IS HARD TO PLEASE ME. NOT THE CASE HERE, WE HAD ALL BOTH AND BOTH WERE 10 PLUS. THE SINGLE CHOCOLATE BALLS ON A SPOON WERE NOT TOO DARK CHOCOLATE AND NOT TOO MILK CHOCOLATE. SO GOOD WE HAD A SECOND ORDER. PINEAPPLE WITH COCONUT ICE CREAM AND CHOCOLATE AND SEASAME WAS A GREAT MIXTURE OF ITEMS AND WE HAD 2 ORDERS OF THAT AS WELL. THIS TIED FOR #1 WITH THE CAFE AT THE SAVOY HOTEL IN LONDON UNTIL WE WENT TO ATERA 3 DAYS LATER, BUT YOU CANNOT GO WRONG HERE AND IT IS ABOUT 70% CHEAPER THAN ATERA. WE CANNOT OVERSTATE HOW GREAT THIS PLACE IS. Check out all of our reviews. If we do not like it we do no review it so all of the ones you see are places that are fantastic. Follow us if you like. So I have been seeing this place everywhere on my tiktok last summer and have always had it on my list to try. Will I go again on my own? No. Will I go again if I happened to meet a lovely finance person who wants to stay in this area & has no idea where to go (because it was that expensive)? Yes. Yes, I will.
However this place is so tiny, you have to sit inside to get the true experience. I went on a date and we were initially seated outside which were these terrible tiny huts & not the experience I wanted. I asked the host if it was at all possible to sit inside & fortunately he said yes, if I can finish before the next hour. Awesome. Done.
This ravioli was shrimp instead of lobster & it was pretty good. It was not filling and every bite I took, I started to feel guilty on taking a date here 😅 This was $40 alone.
Now, I knew what I was walking into. I can’t complain about this price. I’m not complaining. It’s flipping fine dining to the max. But I can feel guilty, a bit.
Let 👏🏽 me 👏🏽 telll 👏🏽 you 👏🏽 thoughh. THIS DESSERT. Yooo. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
It’s a deconstructed tiramisu thing & it, was, everything. And it was $15! I am considering going back just for that when I’m in the mood. The taste, omg, I’m salivating as I write this. So effing good.
If you can afford this place, you’re already doing well for yourself. This review means nothing to you 😅 If you know you can’t, but hey we all deserve something special- get this dessert asap.
Also the service was 10/10. Not too hovering, didn’t disappear either. I think she was the bartender as well 🤔 She was so nice.
Highly recommend for the...
Read morei did not like a single dish we tried in this place. even the bread basket was a miss. the garlic bread was fried and all i could taste was oil or butter. there was “lavash” in there as well which i was very excited about (it’s a middle eastern flat bread) but what we got was overseasoned “finncrisp” kind of bread which i absolutely hated. one of the worst bread baskets i had. salmon tartar - huge dissapointment, quite tasteless, everyone is raving about “potato chips mixed in it for crunch”, but honestly it did absolutely nothing for me. also pairing it with oily nori chips made it worse in my opinion. burrata comes with pickled beets and pineaple - i hated this combo. it was too vinegary and honestly pickled roots didn’t go well with burrata. hamachi - don’t remember a single good thing about it. potato rösti (these are sort of potato latkes but tiny and ovefried) - with caviar - the most ridiculous thing on the menu. waste of the $52 - the caviar had absolutely no taste. i think there was some sort of mayo sauce in between chips and all i could taste was that sause, which wasn’t great. we tried 2 desserts, i didn’t like anything in the dessert menu from looking at it but my friends picked rassberry mousse and chocolate pots de creme - i thought both very very bland despite a lot going on in the plate. skin contact wine i had was good - the only good thing i had that night for $350...
