New York | Hidden Xinjiang Gem Next to Times Square (1)๐
Currently, there are two Xinjiang restaurants in Manhattan. One is Tengri Tagh in Midtown, which Iโve visited many times and practically turned into my go-to canteen. The other is Caravan near Wall Street. Tengri Tagh has recently renovated and looks even brighter and cleaner than before. ๐ ๐ Stir-Fried Meat with Hand-Pulled Noodles ๐ The fresh handmade noodles are truly chewy โ you can taste the effort! No wonder itโs a local favorite. The beef and vegetables are delicious, and the generous oil gives it that authentic, aromatic "wok hei" flavor. ๐ Lamb Leg Soup ๐ฅฃ ๐Savoring the soup and eating the meat in big bites is pure bliss โ so satisfying that you close your eyes to enjoy it fully. The soup, spiced with black pepper, is warming and makes for a perfect low-fat meal. One bowl is filling enough for a single person! Lamb is really nourishing, especially around that time of the month. ๐ #NewYorkRestaurantExploration #NYCEatingDrinkingFun ๐
