The September Movie Feel and Down-to-Earth Charm of New York's Chinatown 🎥🥢 ⭐️ Today in Chinatown, I saw a film crew shooting a movie. The location was a really authentic-looking Cantonese restaurant. Since it was mealtime, I decided to give it a try, and oh my, it opened up a whole new world for me. 🎢🍃 All the dishes I had today were ones I'd never tried before. I'd say this place is definitely a hidden gem. ❤️ Steamed Savory Pork Ribs with Chen Village Rice Noodle Rolls This dish was recommended by a lady at the next table. It's a local specialty. The Chen Village rice noodle roll is a traditional dish from Shunde, Foshan, Guangdong. 🎢🍃 The noodles are made from four ingredients, have a low GI, and are very healthy and low-calorie—perfect for us girls! ❤️ Thin Crêpes (I think that's what they're called?) Sorry, I'm not quite sure about the name, but they were delicious! Sweet, soft, and chewy, with a delicate aftertaste. The filling was peanut and sesame, and there was also a durian flavor. And all this for just a few bucks! ❤️ Hundred Flowers Chicken I never knew there could be such a dish. There's no chicken in it? It's actually shrimp! 🎢🍃The crispy skin is chicken skin, and the first bite is just amazing. The portion size is also generous. We only ordered half a serving. #NewYork 🌃🌟
