Brunch lovers, don't miss the Dutch Baby Pancake here! ๐ฅ ๐ฟ๐ I wouldn't be surprised to find any mouth-watering delicacies in the West Village... ๐ ๐ Fresh Berry Dutch Baby The aroma of eggs fills the air, and the edges are slightly crispy, just like my favorite egg waffles! The center is soft, somewhere between a soufflรฉ and an egg cake. Drizzled with syrup and topped with fresh berries, itโs deliciously not too sweet, soft, and perfectly shaped. ๐ฟ๐ One is just right to share between two people. Thoughtfully, they even provide a heat-resistant glove for the little pot handle. ๐ ๐ฅ Farro Bowl The Farro has a delightful crunch, and the chicken doesn't have that off-putting fridge taste. As a typical "boring white person dish," I actually finished it spoonful by spoonful. But it was a bit bland, so I ordered the next item. ๐ Sausage (side) I was expecting a long link sausage, but it turned out to be those sausage patties like in McDonald's McMuffin! Theyโre savory and filling. ๐ About the name "Dutch Baby," I did some research. One version says the founder, dissatisfied with Germany during WWII, chose a related but neutral name. Another version says itโs a misreading of "Deutsch." Hmm, after all that, it has nothing to do with Europe at all! ๐ค The atmosphere here is very vintage and elegant, with soft leopard-print chairs that are super unique. ๐พ ๐ฟ๐ I havenโt seen Dutch Baby anywhere else yet. Next time, I want to try the savory version with bacon & cheese! ๐ฅฉ ๐Left Bank #NewYorkTravel #NewYorkBrunchSpot ๐
