New York | Lilia
🌟This is the 127th restaurant I’ve eaten at in New York. I made a reservation a month in advance. On the way there, I kept saying that if it wasn’t good, I’d be really upset. Because of daylight saving time, I booked a 21:30 dinner, which felt like having a late-night snack. But it was truly very delicious! 🌟I felt like I ordered too little, but I was already full. Roasted Leek Focaccia It’s freshly baked and so, so good. It seems to be paired with a butter and avocado sauce? If the kitchen hadn’t closed, I would have taken another portion home. 🌟Grilled Clam Signature dish! It has a strong wine flavor and is quite fresh and delicious. 🌟Sheep’s Milk Cheese Agnolotti Another signature dish. It was a bit cold by the time it arrived. I think it’s just okay, not a must-try. 🌟Fettuccine The lamb pieces are huge. It feels like a Northwestern Chinese lamb stewed noodles, which is pretty good!! 🌟Italian Taste Gelato It seems to be sprinkled with salt/cumin/olive oil or something. The taste is a bit of a mix of good and bad. It’s the kind you can eat a few bites of. 🌟Chocolate Torte It comes with a chocolate lava cake paired with espresso cream. The edges are crispy, and I find it quite delicious. But it can be a bit too rich if you eat too much. 🌟Overall, I think it’s better than Carbone. I’d come again if I could, but waiting a month is a bit exaggerated. #NewYorkLife #FoodDiary #NewYorkFood #TreasureRestaurantShare #Lilia #NewYorkItalianCuisine #Williamsburg #NewYorkItalianRestaurant
