New York | Midtown Jazz Bar with Retro Charm Perfect for a Date 🥂

In Midtown, the Cvilian Hotel has an American restaurant on the first floor, the Rosevale Cocktail Room on the second floor, and the Starchild Rooftop on the top floor. ✨ I visited the cocktail bar on the second floor. The first thing that caught my eye was the arched liquor shelf. The warm yellow lighting, combined with the American retro decor, the interesting collections in the cabinets, and the glass bottles, candles, and roses on the marble counter, create the perfect setting for a quiet, intimate date. 🌹 ☺️ The outdoor seating has a great atmosphere too, just as good as the indoor area. The drinks are tasty, and they offer options for those who don’t drink alcohol. The snacks are pretty good as well. ☕️ One memorable thing was the Irish Coffee ordered by the table next to us. The process was like a chemistry experiment: using a flame to heat various spices, and once the flame goes out, pouring out the mixed-flavor liquor. It’s fascinating to watch! 🔥 🍫 Then, a massive 5-pound Hershey’s chocolate block made its appearance! Scraping some shavings onto the milk foam is the beginning of the ritual for enjoying this drink. It’s perfect for celebrations! 🍫 🎷 There are live jazz performances every Thursday to Saturday from 9 PM to 12 AM! Unfortunately, we sat in a corner that night. Although it was great for chatting, the band was blocked by a support pillar, so we could only hear the music without seeing the performers. It was so intriguing that it distracted me a bit. 😂 With a Google rating of 4.6, this place is definitely a safe bet.
