New York | Must-Try Soy Sauce Crab in K-Town ๐ฆ๐
Samwoojung, a Korean restaurant that originated in Seoul, has made its way to New York. The K-Town location is conveniently located right under Epic. ๐Their signature dish is the soy sauce crab. As a Ningbo native, I didnโt have high expectations for it. I just wanted to try it out of nostalgia. But I was completely blown away! ๐ธ The soy sauce is incredibly flavorful, salty, and fresh โ itโs a real rice killer, taking me right back to the joys of Ningbo. If youโre into marinated dishes, this is a must-order. ๐ฝ๏ธ ๐ The Bulgogi hot pot is a bit too sweet and can get cloying after a while. The shrimp pancakes and dumplings are pretty good and worth recommending. ๐ข As for the much-hyped dessert, icy persimmon, I found it just okay โ not particularly impressive or essential to order. ๐๏ธ When we left, we saw quite a few people waiting in line. Iโd suggest making a reservation, especially in the cold winter weather. ๐ 138 W 32nd St, New York, NY 10001 #ChroniclerOfARomanticLife #NewYorkLife ๐
