New York | My Recent Favorite Bakery

The days are getting closer for me to leave New York, and many things I’ve been putting off are now on my to-do list. 🌸🌟Finally, I made it to this cozy community bakery in the East Village. The shop is small, with only two staff members and a short line. It feels like a neighborhood breakfast spot, but the food is just so delicious! The variety is overwhelming for someone with a case of indecision like me. 🌟 Almond Croissant $4.75 If I had to pick a top favorite, it would definitely be the almond croissant. The texture is beyond imagination—crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It’s very fragrant, slightly sweet, and possibly the best almond croissant I’ve had in New York! 🌟 Chocolate Almond Croissant $4.95 An extra layer of chocolate adds more sweetness and richness. 🌟 Flan Slice $5.55 The French custard tart is incredibly tender. I didn’t find it cloying at all and thought it was delicious! 🌟 Gateau Basque $6.05 It has a chewy texture and isn’t overly sweet. 🌟 Walnut Rasin Bread $7.95 Very moist, with plenty of raisins. There’s no room for anything bad in this bread, haha. The other freshly baked breads in the shop look amazing too, and they offer bread slicing services. ✅ Plié $4.15 Recommended by the staff, but I found it quite similar to a regular chocolate croissant and a bit ordinary. 🍴 Bread Story 📍 264 1st Ave., New York, NY 10009 💰 $1-10 #FrenchBakery #Bakery 🌿
