🍆 Fish-Flavored Eggplant: The eggplant is tender and flavorful, though the tomato sauce is a bit heavy, making it slightly sweeter than expected. 🍆 🦐 Hot Pot with Pork Knuckles and Shrimp: The wok's high heat gives it a fantastic "wok hei"! The pork knuckles are soft and meaty, while the shrimp are bouncy and chewy. 🌟Together, they make a perfect match. 🦐 🥩 Garlic Chives Twice-Cooked Pork: The balance of fat and lean meat, the thin slicing, and the well-seasoned, stir-fried flavor—this dish really shows some skill. They nailed it! 🍖 The only downside was the lack of traditional desserts like red sugar treats. It would have been amazing to end the meal with red sugar glutinous rice balls or ice powder (they only had chocolate mousse... which felt a bit fusion). 🍫 🌟 The main dishes were solid and super satisfying! Later, I found out this restaurant has been around for 36 years. Wow, how did I just discover it now? 📍 Ollie’s Chengdu Impression 🌟With branches in Midtown, Upper East Side, and Upper West Side. #NewYorkFoodie #NYCFoodGuide 🍔🌟
