New York | Rich Lucky Hot Pot
π36-10 Union St Fl 1, Queens, NY 11354 Old fire soup π₯£ is nourishing and healthy π«, and it brings good luck π§§. πΏπ Among the delicious hot pots in Flushing, Rich Lucky is my favorite. It stands out in the competition of Sichuan and Chongqing-style hot pots by offering Cantonese flavors. I highly recommend it with all my heart π«Άπ». The collagen chicken broth comes with lots of ingredients, which is like a dish on its own. The collagen and sea cucumber are cut and poured into the soup right in front of you, and you can start eating after ten minutes! πΏπ The Wenchang chicken is incredibly tender and smooth. Most importantly, it actually tastes like chicken, which made this Cantonese person cry tears of joy π. You can taste the high quality of the meat and seafood. Recently, I tried fish skin and fish tofu. The fish skin absorbs the essence of the soup, making it crispy and chewy, so don't worry about any fishy smell! The round fish tofu bursts with juice when you bite into it, and it's rich, fresh, and fragrant. π«π As usual, I ordered the chocolate milk pudding. It's not very sweet, and the combination of condensed milk and chocolate powder is perfect. I even cleaned the plate with toast, leaving no sauce behind! π₯€π§ I also love the Ovaltine and iced lemon tea here. The drinks have auspicious sayings like "become rich overnight," which shows that the Cantonese people really understand the importance of good luck. The free spicy and sour chicken feet are gone now. Maybe it's because there are people like me who can eat three bowls before the meal. Ahaha. πΏπ The restaurant doesn't have long queues, the service is great, and the dishes are very unique. It's my top choice when I want something light and fresh. #NewYorkLife #NewYorkRestaurantHunting π
